Justin's 1st Piano Recital

Justin had his very first piano recital on May 5th. He played Mary Had A Little Lamb (accompanied by Grandma Sylvia) and did awesome. It was so cute watching him up there. He really enjoys playing and always begs to practice!

A few days before Easter we had the Vincent Family over for dinner, s'mores and a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt. For some reason I couldn't get my camera to take pictures of the actual hunt but it went something like this. It was a fun twist on the normal egg hunt.

We also went to the annual Easter Eggstravaganza in Murrieta. Justin and Elizabeth participated in a huge egg hunt and did awesome. They also met the Easter Bunny and it seemed like for the first year ever, everyone enjoyed him. After the hunt, we went to Justin's t-ball game and then had family over for an early Easter BBQ. The kids always have so much fun with their cousins.

Easter morning the kids woke up to baskets filled with lots of treats. The kids spent the morning running through the sprinklers in their new swimsuits brought by the Easter Bunny.

Later we went over to Grandma & Grandpa's for Easter dinner and yet one more egg hunt!

April was a month filled with beautiful weather (I say that now that I'm stuck in August's nasty 100 degree heat) so we spent a lot of time in the backyard.

Shane also spent a lot of time "cleaning" the house in style.

Elizabeth started her very first ballet class!

And I got to fulfill a dream of mine! Not only did I get to go to a taping of the Ellen show but I got to see Neon Trees perform and go backstage where we met Ellen's Mom and Tony the DJ. It was such a fun day!

To celebrate the end of tax season we took a little trip with the Vincent's to Disneyland for a couple days. We stayed 1 night in a hotel and the kids were in fun overload.

We also went strawberry picking one Saturday while the Daddy's were away playing softball. Lots of fun with this crazy group of kiddos.
